Student Opportunities

Student Opportunities

American Cochlear Implant Alliance welcomes full-time students, fellows, and postdoctoral scholars who have a clinical or research interest in cochlear implants to CI2026 Chicago Conference on Cochlear Implants.

Don’t miss the opportunity to share and explore important issues in cochlear implantation with key thought leaders.

Join audiologists, physicians, speech pathologists, psychologists, scientists, engineers, educators, students, advocates, and others involved in cochlear and other implantation technology globally. The conference will provide attendees with opportunities to engage with fellow professionals exploring current and emerging topics for cochlear and other implant device patients across the lifespan.

Student Scholarships

Are you a full-time student, fellow, or postdoctoral scholar with a clinical or research interest in cochlear implants? Scholarships are awarded for each of our annual CI Symposium. Awards include registration to the meeting, a $120 stipend, and a student membership in American Cochlear Implant Alliance.

Congratulations to this year’s student scholarship winners! A list of the 2026 recipients can be found HERE.

Poster Exhibit Session

Poster Exhibitors are to provide a printed poster for the Poster Exhibit Session of the CI2026 Chicago program. The Poster Exhibit Session has typically been held on Thursday afternoon of the meeting in the Exhibit Hall in advance of the Welcome Reception. All events will take place at the Hyatt Regency Chicago Hotel.

We encourage presenters to set up their poster as early as possible so it may be viewed by attendees throughout the day. Authors are required to stand next to their poster during the Poster Exhibit Session. Attendees look forward to speaking with you regarding your research, as well as enjoying refreshments during this session.

The program schedule will be finalized by late-February. We will communicate Poster Exhibit Session dates, times, and details at that time.

Poster Format Requirements:

  • Posters cannot be larger than 44″ tall by 30″ wide. This is a vertical format.
  • A copy of the abstract needs to be incorporated into the poster or attached to the upper, lefthand corner.
  • A section at the top of the poster must contain the title, authors, and affiliations.
  • A PDF file of your poster should also be provided.
